The Sands at Grace Bay is a 114-suite luxury Caribbean resort situated on the idyllic Grace Bay beach on the island of Providenciales of the Turk & Caicos Islands. Located just seven miles from Providenciales International Airport and six miles from the center of town, The Sands at Grace Bay houses its various rooms in six, three-storey buildings surrounded by beautifully crafted Caribbean plantation-style landscaping.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a drink. The Sands at Grace Bay offers guests services that include babysitting, roll-away cribs and high chairs, car rentals, a tour desk, complimentary bicycle use (from 6:00 a.m. until dusk), laundry, and valet. Although rates vary with season and availability, the cheapest rooms at The Sands at Grace Bay are the ‘Studio Courtyard’ rooms, which are available at $195 per night from April 1st – December 21st.
The most expensive rooms at the resort are the ‘Three Bedroom Deluxe Oceanfront’ suites which can cost $1,600 a night during peak season (December 23rd to January 2nd). All suites (except studios and one bedroom suites) can accommodate a maximum of two additional persons above the standard suite occupancy thanks to a Queen sized pull-out sofa in each room.
As per the resort’s room policy, a maximum of two children (under 12 years) may stay free of charge when sharing a suite with an adult paying the full suite rate (except Studios). A three-night deposit is required to confirm all reservations at The Sands. The resort insists the deposit is required at the time of reservation and is fully refundable if cancellation notice is received 21 days prior to arrival date.
The Sands at Grace Bay offer various seasonal packages, as well wedding packages for couples seeking an unforgettable Caribbean wedding. Wedding packages begin at $1,800 per couple, which includes services like on-site and event assistance, and assistance in obtaining marriage license and marital paperwork. For the more adventurous visitors, The Sands at Grace Bay have on offer a “Surf & Turf” Scuba Dive Vacation All-Inclusive Package Deal which the resort claims offers a couple over $450 in savings.
Hemingway's Restaurant and Bar is where guests can enjoy al fresco, casual dining on the deck or open-air patio, only a few steps away from the beach. Beachside dining is available from 8 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week.
